On April 5, 2024, Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing visited the Samoa campus of the University of the South Pacific(USP) and met with the Vice Chancellor and President of USP, Prof. Pal Ahluwalia. 

Prof. Ahluwalia recalled his recent visit to China with pleasure, and hoped to strengthen cooperation between Chinese universities and USP in the field of agriculture. 

Ambassador Fei briefed on the China-Pacific cooperation mechanism and the China-Samoa cooperation projects, and encouraged USP to communicate and cooperate closely with its partners in China, for which the Embassy is committed to support.
